=========================

Written by Rev Hammer for the "Hello Pig" LP.

Transcription by Alan Bigham, last
"edited" on the 13th of August, 2000.

This transcription is taken from the live version. I think most
of it is okay but there are some bits I'm really unsure of, the
end particularly (note the chords marked with a '). If someone
can help please do. I've not heard the album so I don't know if
it's slightly different.

I've fixed the lyrics and a transcription of the album version
has been added. Thanks to Vincent!

CAPO 1

A F#m A F#m B E

VERSE I:
     A D
Car horns and rumba music through the cities broken heart
    C#m F#m
Is this the devil's own back-yard?
        B
It was forty years ago as it goes as a gangster he fell
      E
To a rag-bag of men the world remembers well

 Happy Birthday revolution
       A F#m

VERSE II:
Our leader he was young, galant and devine
Was in the age of blood and romance
The shot him in Bolivia, the tears that we cried
For how many men could choose the way that they die

CHORUS

BRIDGE:
    D G
We paint him on our buildings with sadness in his eyes
    A F#m
We suffer hungry days and we call it sacrifice
    B
So saint's stream is full holes with dignity and pride

Do we have independance or is it just so men can love
